Official India Immigration Portals
Direct links to every official Indian government portal for visas, e-FRRO, OCI and immigration — so you always reach the real site, not a lookalike that adds a fee.
Check the domain before you pay
Official Indian immigration portals always use a gov.in or nic.inaddress. Many third-party sites mimic government branding and charge inflated “service fees” for free or low-cost official processes. Every link on this page points to the genuine government portal.

Official portals — common questions
What is the official e-FRRO portal address?
The official e-FRRO portal is indianfrro.gov.in. It is run by the Bureau of Immigration and is the only official channel for FRRO registration, visa extensions and exit permits. Sites with similar names that charge a fee to 'access' it are third-party resellers, not the government.
Where do I apply for an India e-Visa officially?
The only official India e-Visa portal is indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/. Many lookalike sites rank in search results and charge inflated fees for the same government e-Visa — always check the gov.in domain before paying.
How can I tell an official government site from a fake one?
Official Indian immigration portals use a gov.in or nic.in domain. Be cautious of .com or .org sites that mimic government branding, add service charges, or ask for payment through unofficial channels. When in doubt, navigate to the gov.in address directly rather than clicking a search ad.
Do you charge to use these government portals?
No. These portals are free to access and the government sets the official fees. As an independent consultancy, we charge only for our professional assistance — preparing your application, reviewing documents and managing the process — never for 'access' to a government website.
